Das wir diversen Gegenständen auf unserem Boot Namen geben, ist ja mitlerweile bekannt. Das Schlauchboot heißt Loschek, das Kanu heißt Houdini und die Planke heißt Marinella. Aber es gibt noch eine Steigerung. Nämlich bei den Franzosen ! Unser Katamaran ist ja eine Französin. Übrigens: obwohl es auf deutsch DAS Boot oder DAS Schiff oder DER Katamaran heißt, haben alle Schiffe dem Aberglaube wegen einen weiblichen Namen - auch wenns ein männlicher Name ist, ist es eine SIE. Also DIE Pinkpenguin ... vielleicht aber auch von die Yacht, na egal.
Jedenfalls haben wir nun unsere Bootspläne im März von Pula mitgebracht um sie eingehend studieren zu können. Und weil die Tinte schon verrinnt, sie auch gleich ein zu scannen. Et voilá ... ein petit Spaß avec den Ausdrücken:
der Notausgangsplan = Incendie = Flächenbrand, Brandstiftung
Bilgepumpe (um Wasser im Bootsrumpf auszupumpen = Epuisement = Burnout, Erschöpfungszustand
Kabelkanäle = Gaines = Miederhöschen, Hüfthalter
Ruderblatt = Safran = der offensichtliche Safran

We have names for all the things we carry on the boat, well at least the Dinghi, that is Loschek. And the new canoe, that is Houdini and the gangway is Marinella. ... that's all stories taking another looong blog ;-). So you think we are crazy ? Parlez vous francais? Our boat is a french girl, so I am actually entitled to say that - they are funny people!
In march when we visited the boat we took the paper plans of all the installations on the boat with us to Vienna to study them and as the ink is already slightly on the go to scan them. Et voilá ... some petite funny things, the names of these plans are:
the emergency exit plan = Incendie = big fire, arson
Bilgepump system (to get the water out from the lowest part of the boat) = Epuisement = Burnout, exhaustion
cable channel = Gaines = panties, garter belt
rudder = Safran = the obvious Safran
