🇦🇹es brauchte nur ein bissl Pršut und Sir ... und Bier ... und der Plan, mit unseren Freunden Alex & Andi (und deren Auto) ins Hinterland von Rogoznica zu fahren stand fest
🇬🇧it only needed some goor Pršut and Cheese ... and beer ... to make plans to go into the back lands of Rogoznica with our friends Andi & Alex (and their car).
🇦🇹die beiden kennen wir schon seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit ... aus Wien ... aus der Gruft (die mit den Mumien). So wie es der Zufall wollte, waren sie gerade in Rogoznica um das Schiff (eine Amel) ihres Vaters zu verkaufen. Und weil wir ja sonst nichts zu tun hatten 😬, halfen wir mit putzen, blöd daher reden, Bier trinken, und Signalraketen (Leuchtraketen) aus dem Jahre 1984 (!!!) zu entsorgen.
🇬🇧we have known these two for an eternity ... from Vienna ... from the crypt with the mummies. And what a coincidence it was, that they came to Rogoznica to sell the sailboat (Amel) of their father. And as we did not have a lot to do, we helpend them cleaning the boat, talking rubbish, drinking beer ... and getting rid of flairs from 1984 (!!!).
🇦🇹von welchem Teil Kroatiens spreche ich ? ... Rogoznica liegt zwischen Sibenik und Split, in Dalmatien. Und die rot eingezeichnete Route entspricht schon fast der tatsächlichen ... 😉

Autoverbot: dort hätte nichtmal mehr ein Matchboxauto platz gehabt
Wifi: war als Hausschild angebracht
Friedhof: von überall zu sehen
Bienen: hier gabs keinen Honig

🇦🇹 Draga: eines von 20 noch erhaltenen Steinhäuser und -dächer Siedlungen. Wenn nicht Corona hätten wir auch die alte Bibliothek und die Olivenpresse besuchen können. QR codes an jeder Ecke aber leider kein Zugang.

🇦🇹 9.-11. Jhdt: einer der ältesten bekannten Friedhöfe Kroatiens - im Danilo Tal (Daniel). Die Suche nach einem Geocache hat uns dort hingebracht - sonst hätten wir das nie gefunden.

🇦🇹 ein (sprichwörtlicher) Steinwurf entfernt: die Römer!! Therme, Fußbodenheizung, Sarkophage ... alles war da.
🇬🇧 and a stone throw (pun!) away: the good old Romans. Thermal baths, underfloor heating, sarcophagus .. everything was there.
🇦🇹 und bei der Suche nach dem letzten Cache des Tages liefen uns (oder eigentlich Wolfgang, der Mann mit dem Hut) eine Herde Ziegen und Schafe nach, das kleinste Schaf versuchte im Schatten von Wolfgang Abkühlung zu finden. Und dann das Beste: haben die Kroaten doch direkte das "H" vergessen (PS: Wolf heißt mit Nachnamen CerHa).
🇬🇧and while searching for the last geo cache of the day, suddenly a herd of goats and sheep startet following Wolfgang 😆. and the smallest sheep tried to hide in the shadow of Wolf. But the best part of the day was, when we crossed this village sign, the croatians have really forgotten the 'H' !!! (Wolf's surname is CerHa).
